Important note: The Cycling Ireland Esports series is dependent on Zwift Power monitoring and its statistical service. This also means that if you get upgraded by Zwift Power during the league, you will be upgraded in the points system, and you will start with 50% of your existing points in a higher Category. If you are close to the Category limit, and you are not a very experienced Zwifter or long-time rider familiar with your power output, we recommend choosing a higher category. In this way, you avoid being moved to a higher Category and starting with 50% of your existing points.
Racing Score
Curious about Zwift Racing Score? We’ve got you covered, check out the questions below for more info.
Q: What is Zwift Racing Score?
- A: Zwift Racing Score is a ranking system that represents your current fitness and racing skill. Using our 1-1000 scale—your score increases as you improve—we can recommend the most competitive band for you, ensuring a fun, rewarding, and exciting experience. Zwift Racing Score replaced our previous FTP-based categorization system (A-D).
Q: Where can I see my Zwift Racing Score?
- A: You can view your Racing Score in-game on the top right corner of the home screen, in the Zwift Companion app, on your profile at Zwift.com, and on your profile at ZwiftPower.com. You can see other members’ racing scores—and they can see yours—in race results, in the Zwift Companion App, and at ZwiftPower.com.
Q: How is my Racing Score calculated?
- A: You’ll enter your first race using a seed score—an estimated score based on your recent activity data. From then on, your score will be adjusted based on your results from each race. Your Racing Score will go up or down based on your finishing position, your competitors’ ability, the participant field size, and there’s a bonus for a podium finish. If you take a break from Zwifting, your Racing Score will decrease slightly to account for natural fitness declines and increased uncertainty. While your Racing Score can reduce, you won’t drop below your current floor value. Your floor value adjusts along with your fitness and is constantly evaluated based on your power bests across all of your recent activities in Zwift.
